I don't know if it's just me but I feel like they are all a bit young to just be casually walking round saying the f word and just randomly swearing like aren't they supposed to be like 7 years old? i just find it a bit weird but it could just be because of the way I grew up lol

I don't really know where to ask this so I thought here would be the place but does anyone know how many points you need to get to each level?

Is anyone else having to put their own page numbers in when updating the progress bar?
Before the page count would be there. But now I have to put it in myself. (Say if the book is 400 pages, i have to put the end count in myself before adding what page im on.)
Is this a new setting or a glitch?

Hello everyone! This is my first post here so i hope i do this correctly!! Lately iโve been wanting to get more into reading but i just canโt๐ข. It just seems so hard to imagine scenerios, understand the plot or information, or even comprehend what im reading. I know it sounds dumb but i used to be a big reader and stopped for a while- now that im getting back to it, it seems so hard. How can i read more, how can i read better, and what do yaโll recommend to start enjoying reading again?
SideNote: if yaโll would like to add book recommendations that would be highly appreciated!!

I know itโs hard to pick which 3 or 6 badges you display on your profile, and not everyone thinks to go to your stats.
So I thought it could be fun to make a thread where you can show off your badges in the comments, and get some well deserved praise!
Just screenshot your badges from your โStatsโ tab and add the image. Postimages.org is a great way to do this, as it will generate a link for you. Then just use the Markdown format:

I wonโt be adding mine! I donโt want this post to come off as self-promoting or point farming. I just want to see everyoneโs beautiful badges and give everyone a space for some praise! ๐๐ป

Hi friends, happy Friday! Hope y'all had a safe and chill week, and if not (or even if you did!), I hope you take the weekend to rest and read!
We're at the end of February (!!!), so today's Bookworm Question is: What were your favorite reads in February? And what are you most looking forward to picking up in March?

the month is wrapping up, and i'm curious how everyone's reading went this month ๐๐ were there any surprising/new favorites out of your reads this month?
i, for one, am lagging so behind on everything i wanted to read, but i'm hoping to catch up this weekend (sorry to everyone i started buddy reading with this month ๐ญ๐ญ) my favorite read this month was sorrowland by rivers solomon, which also earned me the botanical horror badge!

I asked this question when I first joined Pagebound and I loved hearing about the different ways reading has been a part or joined your life. If you missed it the first time, I would love to know. My original post is below:
How did you get into reading? I know maybe a simple question, but I got into reading because of my Godmother, she was a librarian for a school board and always gifted me books for Christmas and birthdays growing up. They would always be different genres and always something i would never choose myself. This made me really appreciate stepping outside your comfort zone to find something you may like (or may not like lol). Last year, we decided to share a read together and again it was something I likely would have not picked up myself, but I was left with that feeling of appreciation for stepping outside your comfort zone and nostalgia for the old traditions manifesting itself in different ways.
So how does your story go? Have you been a reader since before you can remember? Was there a teacher or loved one that showed you the joys of reading? Or did you stumble upon reading later on in life?
Tell me im nosy!!

How do you guys concentrate on reading when other things are going on in the background? I feel like sometimes when im reading and my family are watching tv i end up getting distracted from my book and watch tv instead even when I try not to ๐
