Inferno was the epic finale to a great trilogy. Iggulden captures the personality of the boy who became emperor too soon and the lives of those around him so splendidly. I appreciate that Iggulden always puts a note at the end of the book to discuss his choices on the historical content too.

This was a nice finish to the trilogy. The author always tries to make his work as historically accurate as possible and helpfully explains changes he made and why at the end. I removed a star for the author's recent enthusiasm for the explanation point lol. It was really off-putting (!).
