What are some books and/or book series you are interested but can't get yourself to read? I've been meaning to read Les MisĂ©rables for years now, but it's so long. I did start, and loved what I read, but dropped it, and never had the courage to pick it up again. đ„Č Babel and Poppy War are very daunting for me. I keep seeing people talking about PW here, and so I get reminded that I'm curious about it. I also want to read Malazan, but I'm convincing myself that I'll wait a few years until starting it, but I definitely will! đ€Ł

An introduction to the Fantasy genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

đ€Żđ€Żđ€Ż Havenât read a book that had me staring at the wall and contemplating life in a while and man does it feel good to be back. What an epic story Mistborn has been from start to finish!! If you have not picked up this series, I highly encourage you to do so. While you will quickly learn in The Final Empire that Sanderson is a world class world-builder, it definitely takes getting to the very end of Hero of Ages for you to fully appreciate how beautiful of a storyteller he is as well. Where I struggled with pacing in Well of Ascension, Hero of Ages seemed intent on proving me wrong. I struggled to put this bad boy down, particularly near the end, when the long awaited climax of this series really begins to hit its stride and the pieces all begin to fall into place. I mean the sheer scope of this story??? Itâs clear to me that Sanderson has known where this story would end from the very beginning, and yet he manages to introduce and build upon this world so elegantly and masterfully that you can never quite tell where the story is headed next. And yet, the epic resolution of this trilogy is tied together so perfectly, itâs truly one of the most satisfying reading experiences Iâve had in a long time. Iâm still not sure Iâve fully recovered LOL, will be a frequent reread for me for sure. Donât be like me and avoid starting this series because you were intimidated by the sheer size of the Cosmere universe đ Brandon Sanderson, I was unfamiliar with your game⊠𫥠Looking for everyoneâs suggested reading orders now!
