hiii :) looking for things to listen to & keep me interested while doing work around the house as someone who usually doesn’t listen to audiobooks at all. any suggestions? typically i dont like being read to in anyway, shape or form so I’d like something that almost makes me forget thats happening 😭 i love a good mystery, thriller, whodunnit, or romance book but have also read a few historical fiction & biography. im really open to trying anything as long as it keeps me entertained :) tysm in advance

If the end of the world was run by two slightly incompetent besties with millennia of sexual tension, this is it. British humour, biblical nonsense, and one very confused child.
If you loved the TV show adaption with David Tennant, the audiobook’s got the full cast and the same unholy level of chaos.

Fictional books that feel like a warm hug, featuring magic and whimsy and perfectly happy endings. These are lower on stakes and higher on good vibes!

I read a lot this year, and in August I kind of started slumping but I was able to keep going by reading weird books I would normally never read, but eventually that wore off as well. I was fine with not reading for the rest of the year, but I know that if I don’t push myself out of the funk it might carry on for years (like it has before) SO:
If you have any fun, short, interesting books PLEASE let me know. I like romcoms to get out of my slump, but a fantasy will do as well! 🧡

Tbh… I’m not a fan of the percentage update while reading. I don’t get the hype 🤷🏼♀️ I think it’s more work than necessary. I totally get the reading list updates, or reading goal updates. What does everyone else think?? What am I missing??
I’m curious why it was important enough to be added

I'm an indie audio producer from the UK. I created a dark and immersive horror audio series which I'm giving away for free for spooky season. Anyone fancy a listen to something new, for free, and giving an independent creator a little boost! 😃
EDIT: I'm just gonna put it here in case you do want to listen. Just head to www.albionbyrd.com and enter the code CONRAD for the complete full series for free.
