The pacing of the story was pleasant to follow and I felt the intertwining of trees + memoir was well balanced. I’ve read more engaging nature/memoir stories and this wasn’t necessarily life changing but still enjoyable.
Now I’m off to continue my fungal deep dive 🍄🌲🍄🟫🌳

Mixed feelings about this one. Personally it felt a bit too much like assigned reading for school ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I liked how all of the different stories and characters built the setting and the vibes, but at the same time I was way more interested in certain characters so the other stories felt mundane and slow.
