I was surprised to find this book so dark, but I absolutely love it! I’m really enjoying the characters & the setting so far, and I can’t wait to see where the story takes us.

I’m loving the asethetic and the ease of communication with others so far (as a girl coming straight from goodreads haha)

I plan on reading one book from a different country such as China, Sweden, Poland, Nigeria, Ghana etc. per month to broaden my literary horizon because I mostly read books from authors from the US, the UK, Ireland and Germany. If you have suggestions for books I should read please let me know ☺️ I already have Pachinko, Beartown and A Hero Born on my TBR. I’m open to most genres except Romantasy or Romance. Tried it a few times but it’s absolutely not for me.

I have soft dnfed this twice at chapter one cause of the pace but that was me in my fast-paced thriller era. I hope this time i see till the end 💕💕

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.
