recommended by brandon sanderson himself from an instagram post lol. i know the mistborn series is one of his more popular works but i wanted to get into his writing from a different book to start with, and he said this is one of the 3 “starter” books he recommends.
i’m not used to books with an active narrator who breaks the fourth wall so this is quite interesting so far. excited to read more about the lore too, this isn’t the romantasy / dystopia i’m used to
