End Game is the final book in the PCU Storm series, and man what an ending! This book was so gut wrenchingly beautiful and I need 3-5 business day to recover đ It took me a while to finish if I'm being honest... romance aside, this story was my reality the past 2 years with my grandmother. The hospital visits, the diagnosis, the anticipatory grief and it hit a lot harder than I thought it would. This is a heavy one but despite that, I couldn't stop reading. After receiving the news of her father's terminal cancer diagnosis, Sloane Rhodes is trying to outrun her reality with endless lists and routines. Logan is recovering from a season-ending football injury and despite eveything he's dealing with, he tries to be there for the Rhodes family. I love that their love story didn't take center stage, it just grew quietly in the background alongside the grief. Logan is just everything! He is the kind of man that shows love through showing up and that's exactly what he did. He was just there, a constant for Sloane when her world was falling apart. Seeing their relationship develop was just chef's kiss and so heartwarming 𼺠I don't think I'll ever get over their story. It was beautifully-written... the loss, the grief and the healing đ¤

This was such a cute small town romance! Add a bodyguard, banter, the "only one bed" trope and I'm SAT đ I absolutely adore Ripley and Banks. Ripley is a smart-mouth, small town lavender farmer and Banks is a grumpy, tattooed bodyguard with a soft side. Their chemistry was off the charts... and the banter? even better! Sprinkle a case of mistaken identity, a one night stand that never happened, some forced proximity and it's just chef's kiss đĽ Overall, I really enjoyed it. I think it was the perfect balance of plot and spice. This was my first Lauren Blakely book and I can't wait to read more!
