endearingly grumpy old people and their found families
books whose main characters are older and disillusioned with life and go on a little adventure that melts their hearts (and heals yours)

An introduction to Historical Fiction, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

Hi fam 💞 I'm not pregnant now, but 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 will be in the next year. I'm hoping to work some books into my tbr that have to do with parenting/pregnancy/motherhood. Fiction and nonfiction. If you're a parent and there has been a book that you have read that felt really helpful and/or important, I would love to read it. I'm one of those types of people that really likes to over prepare, and so I want to get a head start on this kind of thing 😊 I know I could always go to Google to find a list of relevant books, but I love this community so I figured I would start here first!
Edit: I'm also planning on being a stay at home parent, so anything specific to that would be great too

Like. Okay. I have a small habit of buying too many books. So to cut back on that, I have started to change from just buying the books I want to read, and focus my energy into saving up to buy special editions and hardcovers of the series that I know I absolutely adore as like an actual collection.
I'm thinking of making more use with libraries, the internet archive, etc for reading itself.
I will admit there is no actual question, I just want other people's thoughts about this and maybe some recs on other places to get the books I'm interested in.

this is possibly the first cold morning here before an absolute fuck ton.
do you guys have any books or genres you tend to reach for the first autumn/winter morning?

When you add the 3 emojis after you finish a book are you using emojis to describe the book overall or do you use them to express how you felt reading that book?

I'm just a girl who likes to read multiple books at a time. What about you guys?
