Ok you know what? I don't understand why this has quite a low reviews?? To me, everytime that I read a friends-to-lovers book it's like a cozy hug, because it feels like that is what's more natural in real life. Even if Hannah was painted as someone with more rage inside and not really wanting to explore her culture because it has kinda skyrocketed globally, I think those are understandable? And yes, having the most 3 important people leaving you during childhood/early adolescence WILL leave you with an emotional scar if this is not adressed (especially because we see from her POV that her mother is more in church than idk being a mom)!! Sorry, I guess this post is about defending Hannah. I really liked the relationship between the MCs and I'm grateful for the dual POV, because Jacob is the sweetest of a gem. I'm a hater of miscommunication in books, and I've seen some reviews mentioning the miscommunication, but from my perspective, I didn't see that many? They are kids and I would say they communicated quite a lot (let's forget about the 3 year gap which was explained) and they chased each other to make their points clear. Overall this was such a cute book that I wouldn't have picked if not for being on sale in a 2nd hand bookshop in Brussels

I can't find a list like this... so I'm making it myself. I also sadly don't know many books that fall into this specific category, but maybe one day there'll be more here ...!
