I feel like this is going to be an interesting ride for me. I haven't really read YA in a minute. So far so good.

I love that there is action in this book. It reminds me so much of all the things I loved about Buffy the Vampire Slayer. There was romance but then there were demons and shit we had to fight. This is like the book candy I need to get through my day. Also, Castor and Kyo are FIRE together.

I feel like in some ways the story is moving forward but in other ways it is crawling. There is plenty of spice but at times I don't feel like there is much chemistry between these two.

The banter between these warriors is cracking me up. Also, I love a tough guy and a nerdy guy. This is going to be a fun time. I can just tell.

Based on reviews I read, I really don't think I'm going to like this. But let's try it anyways. 🤷♀
