Listen. I love the narration in this book. I love the characters. I love the story, it's all absolutely fantastic. But, man. I am so tired of reading about spores. It feels constant

    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

I enjoyed this but... there was a lot of information thrown at me that i dont really think was all that necessary. It really bogged down the book for me and made it a more difficult reading experience than it needed to be.

It was interesting to see another side of the story. And while I can see how (and why) they may have wanted to frame her for her crimes i don't think the book needed to be so cut and dry. The author really took an "all or nothing" approach to her crimes and tried to explain away all of them. I think it probably would have been more realistic to say yeah, she may have killed a person or two, but it definitely wasnt 650. Trying to erase her of all the guilt felt excessive and... inaccurate.
