Reading is a fairly new hobby for me. Last year, I finished The Prison Healer trilogy and The Cruel Prince trilogy, but now I don’t remember the plot anymore 😅 Maybe because I didn’t write any reviews or thoughts
I’ve been thinking about rereading both because I know that I will enjoy them, but my I have a lot on my TBR already.
so folks why do you decide to reread??

“Oh, that’s cool. I’m at a performing arts college. We don’t have any NCAA teams, so I’m not too knowledgeable about that stuff, but is cheerleading recognized as a sport now?” ”No, it’s not.” I don’t know if she meant to be bitchy, but it comes off that way. Still, I return her smile. “It should be, though. We work our butts off.” But she’s not the first person to imply, whether intentionally or not, that cheerleading isn’t an official “sport.” The NCAA still doesn’t recognize it, which is total bullshit, because can anyone really say with a straight face that cheerleaders aren’t athletes? We train hard. We’re flexible as fuck. Hell, I can knock out tumbling routines that a hockey player like Shane wouldn’t even begin to know how to execute. Which isn’t to say cheerleading is more demanding than hockey. Only that we’re athletes and deserve the recognition.
may i introduce you to the monopoly known as varsity spirit, which owns 80% of the market share in the entire cheerleading industry & is the sole reason cheerleading is not considered a sport.

Omg, this MacLean story about Miss Bates has me shook - I could nearly cry for her and am so glad I can trust in a HEA any moment now!

Lol Caroline describing the uncontained, edgeless western sky as “frankly, sloppy.” This story is such a delight, I’m loving Caroline’s sharp character and the writing is deft and clever. My first Nikki Payne, but not my last!

This is only my second Mariana Zapata book, and I’m marveling at how both have been the slowest slow burns with pretty relaxed narratives and yet I am fully engaged and can’t stop reading. Well done!

Sense, Sensibility and Snapdragons by Eloisa James was delightful - humor, wit, meaningful callbacks to the original, shimmering feels - best of the bunch so far!
