This was a wild ride! I really enjoyed all three parts, though I do wish we got to hear more from Yeong-hye about this dream! The writing was fantastic, the characterization was great (especially with In-hye!) And I enjoyed being sucked into this messed up family.

I'm fascinated and I am horrified. This was a rough one to get through, and not for many of the reasons books usually are for me. The writing was great, I found it compelling. But I was so wigged out reading from the awful awful POV. It reminds me a lot of Audition, where you spend most of the book going "WTF this is heinous" while the POV character justifies their villainy. Icky icky yuck yuck

This is yet another book I went into knowing most everything and STILL absolutely adored. Thank you Frankie's Shelf🫰
This is such a weird and wonderful story. I love Linda, and I live how she's written. There is no doubt in her mind even if she wants there to be. I think I could read endlessly about Linda, about her job, her flights, the details of that flight binge? She fascinates me endlessly. I think Kate Folk has, in one book, cemented herself as an autobuy/read author for me

"(...) I allowed people to assume I was heterosexual, and I suppose I was, as all planes are male in spirit, just as all boats are female, and helicopters possess the souls of mischievous children."
I love how matter of fact Linda is in her speaking. Like I believe her!

I am utterly bamboozled by this story. I actually told a coworker today (Hey Jaime!) That if this wasn't written by one of my favourite authors I might not have stuck it out. This is a weird one folks. But y'all, it's CJ Leede! This book has so much heart, and you feel that on every page. I loved reading about Daniel and trying to solve this obscene mystery with him. I also wanted to shake him and wake him up! I don't think this book is for everyone, but in many ways it was for me and therefore I gobbled it up.
