Had to share because no one else would know what I’m talking about.

I had a dream last night that I posted what I thought was a super cute and thoughtful post right here in this feed. In the dream I was so proud of it and excited to engage with everyone. But then within 5 minutes of posting it was downvoted hundreds of times. And then the founders emailed me and told me I had so many downvotes that they had to knock me back a couple of levels and take away some of my badges 😭

What did I do to deserve that kind of sick dystopian nightmare hellscape 😩

Some of you are reading so much with full time jobs😭 I gotta know what y’all do and how many hours you’re doing it. I know a few people are lucky enough to get to read on the job! That’s the dream.

What are your unhinged book cover icks?

I'm not talking stickers or people covers. I want the unhinged reason to not like a cover

For example: It gives me the biggest ick when it's a silhouette cover, and the designer has to include the name of who the silhouette is on the cover like we'll know who they are 😂

I saw someone asking for recs for a vacation and thought, “hey why don’t I do that?” so here I am! I’m going to New York for the first time and I know I want to visit NYPL, The Strand, and Book Club (if I’m nearby!) but what am I missing? Let me know!!!

I know the ages don’t work but I can’t help but picture Jonathan Bailey as Andy and Matt Bomer as Nick. And then I start thinking about Fellow Travelers and it’s like a knife to the gut 😭😭😭

REALLY enjoying this so far but I’m finding myself going back and forth between reading her name as MEE-ka and MY-ka and it’s driving me nuts. How is everyone else reading her name??
