lexi has done it AGAIN!!! god i LOVE this series. each book leaves me wanting MORE. like i need book 4 IMMEDIATELY.

pretty savage was exactly what i was wanting and MORE. the bonding, the “betrayal”, the love, the realizations, the ORDER.

something is ALWAYS happening to these two poor souls. but it made me read this book so damn fast!! i dont even know what to say, just wowowowowwow!!!

wowowowowow okay where do i even start?! i honestly loved reading this in the interview style, it made me feel like i was reading about a true crime, being able to see different people’s POVs on wtf was happening at the park!

i have lived through some hurricanes, although never the type they have in florida, and this just gave me anxiety while reading about it because i truly feel like this is something that could absolutely happen in real life, as bazar as it sounds😳

hearing what these kids/people had to go through at the park to stay alive and to protect themselves and others was just a wild ride (no pun intended). the violence that they endured from the beginning you just knew was never going to end, but i could never imagine how gruesome it’d get!

what a great book! i now know id never ever want to get trapped in an amusement park before, during, AND after a hurricane😬😂

Five weeks later, the authorities who rescue the survivors encounter a scene of horror. Photos soon emerge online of heads on spikes outside of rides and viscera and human bones littering the gift shops, breaking records for hits, views, likes, clicks, and shares. How could a group of survivors, mostly teenagers, commit such terrible acts?Presented as a fact-finding investigation and a series of first-person interviews, FantasticLand pieces together the grisly series of events. Park policy was that the mostly college-aged employees surrender their electronic devices to preserve the authenticity of the FantasticLand experience. Cut off from the world and left on their own, the teenagers soon form rival tribes who viciously compete for food, medicine, social dominance, and even human flesh. This new social network divides the ravaged dreamland into territories ruled by the Pirates, the ShopGirls, the Freaks, and the Mole People. If meticulously curated online personas can replace private identities, what takes over when those constructs are lost? FantasticLand is a modern take on Lord of the Flies meets Battle Royale that probes the consequences of a social civilization built online.

Monsters that were previously dormant are starting to stir and they're waking up hungry. Among them is the Lady in Chains, a creature feared by both human and inhuman thing alike. Her reappearance creates an upheaval in the balance of power in the campground by renewing an old grudge with the harvesters, who are willing to sacrifice anyone they get their hands on in order to gain an advantage. On top of all this, the man with the skull cup has started taking an unusual interest in Kate. But with the harvesters on the prowl, the Lady in Chains hunting her down, and a sinister spider infestation, Kate is going to need all the allies she can get, even if those allies aren't actually... human.

It is largely unaltered, with only minor edits for readability in print form. Every year, campground manager Kate sends out a pamphlet titled “How to Survive Your Camping Experience.” In it is a list of rules to help campers have an enjoyable experience and hopefully survive any encounters with the campground’s… other… inhabitants. This has produced lackluster results and so Kate begins posting her experiences online so that people will understand why it is so important to drink from the skull cup or to not follow the lights. However, what begins as merely stories about her campground quickly becomes a struggle for Kate to maintain control of her land against the schemes of one of the campground’s residents - the man with no shadow.

first, i want to say thank you for receiving this ARC! i am super grateful🖤🌙✨

this was a perfect book to set a great spooky, witchy vibe for summerween! five witches bound together through their pentam and their professor, still forced to be connected 18 years later even though they had no desire to be around one another since an incident occurred in the past. they have to now face their past that haunts them all in different ways and figure out wtf is going on!!

i loved the different personalities of each character. they were each their own person and together they were something different. also fun to have a character named rachel 🤭

this book gave me harry potter vibes sometimes, which i loved! there was a lot i wasnt expecting to happen and some things i was surprised DID happen. it wasnt as horror heavy as i thought it would be, but id definitely lean more towards the darker fantasy description of it!

overall a good read!!🧙🏼‍♀️🖤✨🌙👻
