Rarely do I hate any book character as much as I hate the teacher. He disgusts me. Such a realistically (yet beautifully) written book it makes my skin crawl.

I finished this book back in August and I still cannot get it off my mind. How far out are you and still thinking about it?

I was reading this before bed and legit had nightmares last night 😅 they weren't about anything specific just really disconcerting and eerie vibes. I'm a horror reader and have never had a problem before, so this is wild to me 🫣

This is not at all what I expected in THE BEST WAY. It is so hard to search for mysterious fantasy books since they don't technically belong in the "mystery" genre but they're written around a mystery you get to try and solve while you read, all set in a beautiful and fantastical world you get to explore at the same time. THIS FELL INTO MY LIFE ON ACCIDENT AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR IT. I am only halfway through but hooked. Blessed to have a day I can dedicate to reading because I'm pretty sure I'll blaze through the rest. I have a few theories I'm working on but hoping I get to be completely blindsided by the end. I have a feeling I'll need other book recs after this to cope. Y'all I am having the best time!!!

I'm absolutely obsessed with the Plan tab in the Library section on here like I've got books on there until the end of next year 😂 and I'm wondering what people have planned for October/the rest of the year. 👀

I've always been a big reader but in college I barely read because I felt I didn't have the mental capacity for it, and started to watch a lot of K-dramas instead. Summer of last year I fell in love with reading again, and I would still watch K-dramas occasionally but it was when I wasn't reading a book.
Now I'm out of college, but still struggling to balance reading with my other hobbies. I'm very all-or-nothing, and I find that if I'm reading I keep wanting to watch my show, and when I'm watching the show, I want to read. It's frustrating because I can't balance both hobbies at the same time and enjoy them without feeling like I should be doing the other.
Anyone else struggle with this issue and have tips for how they allocate time for reading and other hobbies?

Wow. This turned out to be the most powerful read about women that I had this year.
