FABIAN SALAH MENTIONED!!! 😄🙌🏽💕
It’s nice to hear that his music career has been blowing up since “Tough Guy.”

Troy definitely grew as a character since “Tough Guy,” but to actually see him acknowledge his past behavior and regrets (like making fun of Ryan back when they were teammates) is such a great piece of character development.
I really hope we get a scene where Troy apologizes to Ryan for how he treated him back in Toronto.

Troy: “I’ve played Mario Kart. I usually pick Mario.” Harris: “No imagination whatsoever.” T: “He’s the best one, isn’t he? The game is named after him. Why? Who do you pick?” H: “I’ve been a Yoshi man since I was, like, six years old.”
Omggg, yesss!!! Now I love Harris even more for saying this. 🙌🏽💕 He just gets it.

I loved that Eric and Kyle from "Game Changer" finally got their own story, and enjoyed seeing characters like Scott, Kip, Maria, and Carter make occasional appearances.
Eric and Kyle are great characters individually and had great chemistry together. And in my personal opinion, their spicy scenes were way better, compared to the previous three books. 🤭
However, I have to agree with the majority of readers who've complained about the prolonged miscommunication/misunderstanding trope that had taken up a good chunk of the story.
While I do understand the apprehension that both guys have in pursuing an age-gap relationship, the lack of communication really bogged down my enjoyment of the book as a whole.
