This was such a great introduction to Mia Sheridan!! I really enjoyed this. Wingman falling in love is such a good trope 🫶🏻 I really appreciate the feeling of community with the side characters interactions as well. Definitely makes me want to read the rest of the books in this series!

I heard a few booktokers say the characters were unlikeable and that ruined the story for them, but tbh I’m really enjoying the fact that Ari and Josh are flawed and human (and not conventionally attractive!). Makes the story feel more real and interesting. Also, love that Josh is a hopeless romantic

Okay so I had high hopes for this book in the beginning. I enjoyed the spy backstory and the journey back to “normal” life. But that’s kind of where it just stopped for me. The only enjoyable couple scenes in this book were the smut scenes, otherwise I just didn’t see the chemistry :(

This book was just okay for me. The stakes didn’t feel high about the podcast as a conflict because the main character and partner didn’t even care about the podcast. Also the main couple was meh, im not swooning but im certainly not hating it by any means. This was just mediocre.

I used to be a fantasy and romantasy girl but lately I've been leaning more towards romance and I'm not completely sure why... I still love a good fantasy book but I feel like I'm not in the right frame of mind, or have the time, to truely get lost in the world and appreciate it so romance seems like the best option. I have ALOT of romace books on my TBR from my friends and I really want to get them over with but at some point I feel like I'm just reading them to get say I finished and not actually enjoy it🙁 Fantasy, especially high fantasy, takes me a bit longer to finish than shorter romance books. I know your tastes change as you get older, but, I also read alot of other genres besides fantasy and romance so why am I only drawn to romance right now😭?

For the 5 books in the “My Taste” section on your profile, how did you pick them? Are they all 5-star reads, personal favorites, books that give off your general reading vibe, or do they all just scream "me"? I’m always curious how people approach it. Mine are all 5-star reads that kind of reflect my reading vibe, even if they don’t totally scream “me.”

A cute slow burn! Miscommunication trope in the third act really isn’t my thing which is what lost me. Otherwise I really enjoyed the build up and tension between the two main characters. I also enjoyed the backstory of their friendship 🫶🏻

Anybody not a fan of writing reviews or just me? Lol I wish I have the energy to write reviews every time I finish a book but my attention span is so bad that by the time I finish the book, I already forgot a chunk of it. That's why I really love the forums. Write as you read.

Hey everyone! We have exactly one month left in the Spring Readalong, which means Summer 2025 Readalong picks have officially dropped. You can see all 5 selections over on the Discuss tab :) We've also squeezed in some web updates between app development: - You can now see the publication year on the Book Page below the description. Some of these dates may be the edition's pub date rather than the original publication year; this is a known data issue so apologies in advance! It will be sorted out as we get more robust book data. - Various bug improvements including preventing double user follows We have more requested feature updates in the pipeline; I'll be back soon when they're released! Happy Reading, Jennifer & Lucy 💜💙 PS - Our community has grown so much over the past few weeks and it has been SO fun to watch everyone connect and interact. Thank you for making Pagebound such an amazing place and welcoming in our new members!!
