Yay! Reading this for that fall vibes 😍... I will be honest tho. I don't have much expectations that i will like the romance... I hope the plot is good enough... Cause from what i heard, this book is mystery too... So yeah... Happy nocturnal reading

Wow, I really have no words for this. This was one of the best books I’ve ever read, probably one of the best I’ve read this year.

It took me a while to get into the world and understand the narrative structure and the stages of the story. I also had to get used to the second-person POV. But once I grasped it and got used to the way the story was being told, I could just enjoy it.

Spear Cuts Through Water is one of those books where you have to pay very close attention. There are so many layers to the story, and I loved how each story unfolds and slowly comes together.

I loved the world-building, the gods, myths, magic, and how this world operates. I also loved the characters and how every character feels like they have a part to play. Even getting dialogue or thoughts from characters we normally wouldn’t pay much attention to made the world feel so much more alive.

I loved how the author transitions from one stage to another and shifts from one scene to the next. It was fascinating. I also loved the mystery element and the mythical, magical vibes.

It’s beautiful and disgusting at times, but overall, such a lovely story that I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m very glad I read it.

Such a beautiful form of storytelling, if you ask me.
