Objectively this book gets a 3/5, but in my heart it gets a 10/5 for being the book that kickstarted my love of reading! Into the Wild is a great introduction to the series.... almost to a fault. It explains the code of the clans, the warrior code, and Starclan, but at some points it does so blatantly instead of showing the reader what they need to know. Sure this book is intended for younger audiences, but there are a few times where the explanation felt out of place. This book still has many pros to boast though! The characters are varied and memorable. The pacing is speedy and action-packed. In my opinion, it is always worth the read!

I haven't seen many people talk about video games on this site, so I thought I'd start a conversation. Lately I've been in the mood for city builders, mainly Kingdoms Reborn.

I know this book is very well known because of the author, as it’s a prime example of his philosophy, but I’m really not enjoying reading it at all. I’m thinking of giving up, and the only ‘motivation’ pushing me to finish it is that it’s a short story. And of courde, I want to finish it to earn my summer badge 🤡
