Took hyperfixation to another level. It wasn't an easy read for me but I was satisfied especially with the ending. Quirky and weird as it may be, it felt more human. We each have our own ways to cope with a reality that gets harder to bear.

I have never rooted for a character as much as I did with Homa. As we follow along her journey to bring upon democracy to her own country is something I deeply admire. I know it was a story of friendship but I would say I was a bit biased, I found myself leaning more with Homa as she was captivating, she made me feel like I was standing beside her in battle. She endured so much to protect everyone around her, to build a future where women like her feel safe. She've done so much amidst all obstavles that are thrown at her. I wish more people read this book, to know how women continue to fight for their rights.
