Im only going to read the whole series because I got the collection and I want to get my moneys worth. But i feel like the authors only have one trope that they have been repeating for the third time now. Its always a fragile, traumatized, poor girl, doing a job without money (student/intern, animal shelter, etc.) and a big, muscular, rich man (CEO, security boss (girl how tf did he have so much money by just doing the club security?), etc.) and then she submits to him.

Why not mix it up? Why can’t both me ceos? Why cant she have more money than him? Why cant he submit to her? Why do they need to be traumatized to be kinky?

All these questions and Im still gonna read it. And ill still be really happy about itšŸ‘€šŸ™ˆ

So far its alright, but i hate hate hate that every woman is submissive, pretty, poor and the men are described as rich, powerful, ambitious… I hate when dynamics like the one described in the book just mimic, what a traditional relationship would look like. Oh your woman is submissive, doesnt have agency and you can do whatever you want with her? 50/50 if thats kinky or youre just 40+ i guess
