Maybe I’m the odd one out but honestly this has been incredible. I feel like the little twist to end… I guess hearing it with audiobook… you really do see the pain this put him through. His detachment and disassociation made sense. Definitely a book written to be an audio visual experience.

I think this is the most consistently funny book I've ever read. I found myself chuckling out loud very frequently. The cast was wonderful, they stole my heart honestly. They had very real struggles while the plot still made the scenarios unique and amusing enough to keep things from tipping to too heavy to 'silly' or to being too unbelievable. Some great issues were dove into as well; ones relationship with culture, queerness, family, stability. It hit hard, and you really could put yourself in both Greta and V's shoes. Also V was definitely autistic, and perhaps OCD, representation. Loved that. I need to read more from Reilly, I want to see if she can keep making me laugh.
