Beautifully written but one of those books you need to reread a few times to fully grasp/understand, making it hard to review.

"So she bathed all over in the lunar rays, as there are those who sunbathed." p.23

I'm not sure I fully understand what's going on but I'm into it 😌

Only 3 stars because Wool and Shift were so good, 2 stars seemed a bit harsh. But it was by far the worst.

So many characters and full chapters/subplots that were completely unnecessary. The subplots were long and drawn out and added nothing to the series. The characters started to blend together and some I dreaded seeing their name on the page. It really could have been wrapped up in 100 pages or less not 470 and yet there were still parts that were so vague and the important things felt rushed over.
