I read this during life’s toughest times, and it keeps you having faith in yourself, no matter what life is throwing you—to understand what you really want in life, you’ll have it. You must not give up—because when you really want something, the universe, at its pace, will always conspire in your favor.
This book is astonishing—it made the protagonist, Santiago, exercise his dream—which was to travel—whilst finding his treasures. And I must say this is the very best open ending I’ve ever read!
Indeed, each one of us is capable of doing what we dreamt of, and so, I’ll keep on dreaming and striving for greater things. And you must, too.
