note: i have read this novella 4 times so far and i know i will return again in the future, it’s just such a fluffy palette cleanser!

first time reading review: if this was longer to get some more interactions between the hilariously possessive (and adorable) dragon and his knight it would be a 5 star read immediately, the fluff was everything! however due to the shortness of the story, the ending feels quite a bit rushed and not really earned.

i do love when dragons in these types of stories are like "pretty human, fits right into my hoard and i will not let them go now" and the human just kinda being like "alright! sounds like a fun time, let's go!" which was done really well here. also dragons as big cats is always a delight to read! i do think if we got more conversations and a larger time span between the main couple it would have been better but i still had a great time here.

i was so intrigued with the world building we got to see too and i am sad that the series seems to be abandoned/on hiatus

what a great way to end the series (or at least the main run of books), it was so satisfying to see them tie up all the loose ends. i also always love when characters that have been helped along the way come back at the end to help in the big showdown!

overall a fab ending for this mostly lighthearted and very silly (affectionally) series and while i will take a break from sos hotel for a bit, i plan to read the road trip book/s when i need some more chaos in the future.

ffs i was gonna take a break from this series for a bit before i start the final three books (the last main line book and the two additional ones) but with that ending?! i have to keep going now!
