A friend recently shared the CAWPILE* review system with me and I'm curious if anyone here is using that or something similar.
Also would love to know what your star ratings mean to you - mine are:
⭐️ Survived ⭐️⭐️ Tolerated ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Liked ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reread worthy
Thankfully, I haven't had reason to use 1 or 2 often 😅
*(Expanding the acronym for anyone who needs it: Characters, Atmosphere, Writing, Plot, Intrigue, Logic, Enjoyment - you rate these areas from 1-10 then divide by 7 to land at a score - 10 feels like too big a scale for me so I use it with 1-5)

“Twelve-year-old Ebun told sixteen-year-old Monife that she didn’t believe in curses. “That’s fine,” said Monife, between the slow chewing of gum, “but what if the curse believes in you?”
Oh I am going to love this book. What a way to start. My father said something similar to me about ghosts when I was younger.
