I feel like an epilogue was needed to make the ending more satisfying. Just a quick little “one year later” or something to wrap it up. Took a bit to pick up speed but once you’re in, you’re in. Laughed out loud at a few places which I really appreciated - that doesn’t happen too often for me, especially in novels like this.
