on my fourth re-read. i constantly lend my copy to all of my friends convincing them to read it, too, and now it's my turn again. i can't even explain how much this book impacted me. it genuinely feels like clutching your pearls the entire book start to finish and i had to just stare at the wall for a while the first time i finished it. i have an entire spotify playlist i made for it. dathan auerbach the man u are. AHHHHH

they tried to get us to read this at my high school in ninth grade and it just never stuck for me (my 14 year old brain wasn't there yet) but re-reading it as an adult is something i'm glad i did. i don't usually enjoy self help style books but this one resonated with me.
