IM CRYING THIS STORY WAS SO HEARTWARMING
Ugh make it magical realism with a historical background and that’s what Peaches & Honey is.
The story goes over what it truly means to be immortal and the impacts it has not only on your relationship but your own relationship with humanity. I really did love Anna as an FMC because not once did her character wave, she stayed true to herself despite society showing her that they would turn on her time and time again.
THE YEARNING??? So beautiful and subtle, I loved it.
Now will I pick up book two?? Unsure because even tho the book was less than 300 pages it still felt as if it was dragging here and there

I don’t even know what I was expecting but I think it has become a new favorite (I haven’t read Addie LaRue that everyone seems to be comparing it to so idk if that would be equal or better) I’m starting the next one asap hopefully it will be just as good

I’m loving this book WAAAYYY more than The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. This FMC is way more tolerable and less insufferable and less whiny than Addie LaRue.

It’s been four hundred years,” she murmurs, “and I still don’t understand how people can hate so violently.
dont worry the hate is still very apparent centuries later 😭 this feels too real LOL
