The punch of the opening line on the first page kicks off a short, gory, and emotional read as we follow newly dead Kristina; a young lesbian whose violent impulses send her on a journey toward the family that mistreated her while she was alive.
The blood lust and violence are just as intense and raw as the emotional upheaval Kristina experiences through memories of her life and the abuse she experienced, filtered through her undead drive for blood, with a body that is stronger and capable of fighting back in ways that she couldn't have imagined while alive.
Once she sets her course and decides that she needs to return home above all else, the book flies and is hard to put down.

Endangered is a sharp horror novella that follows angry and traumatized Marlowe, a former camper who is hell bent on returning to Camp Atonement for revenge and finds herself forming a deadly, hxrny bond with a monster in the lake.
Gritty, bloody, hot, and intense, this was my first sapphic monster fxcking read.
What made it a 5 star read:
I loved that the lake monster wasn't traditionally hot. This is not a gentle and beautiful mer creature, but something that leans fully into the horror genre. Also, the descriptors were so evocative and amped up the feeling of danger when Marlowe would give herself over to the lust she experienced with a creature that could easily end her life from one breath to the next.
Through the struggle of horror and revenge, the ending was so satisfying and perfectly on brand with the tone of the rest of the novella.
I had a lot of fun reading this one and definitely recommend it if you're looking for a sapphic, horror, monsterfxcking read that doesn't hold back.

An atmospheric, mysterious, sensual read that shines during the second half when the mystery surrounding Elowen Grayscale's fate as a young, powerful witch is explored, leading to an intriguing conclusion that has me wanting more.
I enjoyed the lush descriptions of the sea and the town of Saltgrave as well as the Grayscale home and the feeling of it living and breathing and serving as an additional character.
The romance grew on me the more it developed and I was so glad it was given time to breathe and turn into something full of care and heat.
A great read if you're looking for a dark and mysterious, witchy novella with heat.
