"toss me" "toss you?" "I can't reach the chime. You're going to have to-"
im cackling because did this make anyone else think of Gimli telling Aragorn to toss him in LOTR or just me? đ
(edited because I realized I originally said Legolas not Aragorn, and upon rereading this comment I am embarrassed I made this mistake now that I visualized the scene in my head đ)

this was soooo cute and cozy! it took me a couple times of starting it to really get into it, but once I did I had so much fun đ I love a book that has lovely side characters and this one really delivered. the romance was light and wholesome. Larran is such a sweet heart đ

finally finished this, its been sitting on my shelf for like a year and ive read it on and off when I felt like feeling "smart". tbh the first 75% of this book felt more like a self help book than an educational investment book. I found more value in the last couple chapters with an actual "game plan". it did inspire me to invest now, and I feel like I have a couple more tools in my belt. still need to do some more research and get more of a grasp on things before I start putting money in though!

tbh I never really thought too much about her name being Misery, maybe just because im used to fantasy books and the mcs generally having unique/weird names? but I actually kind of like it! it's more memorable than something plain like "Laura" (no shade to any Lauras out there)
