I think I had a lump in my throat or my eyes were stinging for about 90% of this book š between relating to the couple on the hardships of long distance relationships, to having had a grandma that had Alzheimers and watching my mom take care of her as a kid, this book hit ALL the feels. There is no contemporary romance that has hit quite the same for me as Jimenez's books. They feel truly real, and not just like a bunch of fluff (which fluff is sometimes the vibe, don't get me wrong), but omg they just hit the feels just right š„²

this book was definitely something different. I was annoyed at the day repeating just reading about it, so I can only imagine how Tara felt. I wish it had a more conclusive ending in a way, but I also feel like it ended how it needed to. I know there is more to the series so maybe I will have to pick up the other books if my curiosity eats away at me enough

Maybe itās just me⦠but Iām really over the changing of common words that donāt add anything by being changed.
Seater, pallet, mah/pah, smoke sticks, sleep suite, dae.
Thankfully I really like the book, so I can get over it. But itās just so unnecessary.

this book was just a bit slow for me all in all, it felt like the audiobook lasted forever š„² BUT the narrators did an amazing job. I didn't care much for Alice, but I loved sabine and charlottes povs, so im glad that ended up being the bulk of the book! otherwise, schwab's prose is beautiful as always, and this book is definitely meant to be SAVORED

Iāve been poking around the forum, but I donāt think Iāve seen a post that really covers this⦠what order do you guys recommend reading SJMās series in? š I should be caught up with ACOTAR next month, and now Iām stuck debating if I should head into CC or TOG next. I know everyone has their āidealā reading order, so whatās yours? And do you think I shouldāve started with a different series first?
