Yellowface and Gone Girl just had a baby.
This was a highly entertaining ride throughout. After the first 30%, I just couldn't put it down. It was addictive, fresh, and funny. I was constantly flip flopping between feeling love and hate for our main character Margo, and my jaw was on the floor the whole time, even to the very end. She's so devious and insufferable and completely indefensibly UNHINGED. The writing had some real zingers that had me wheezing.
I only wish this was a little more developed in terms of Margo's personality, and some of the other plotlines that felt unfinished. But I still loved it!
Hard to believe this is a debut! Eagerly awaiting her next book.

Uhhhh wtf?? I did not see all those twists coming. Super impressive debut novel and so beyond unhinged. I hated the main character but I couldn’t stop reading. So good
