This book is so incredibly heartwarming, funny, and beautiful. In this book, the reader gets to feel like they are apart of the road trip being taken by Violet, Dex, and Phoebe. You get to experience all the tourist stops, bumps in the road, and detours taken. You get to see 2 people fall in love and 3 people become a family. This book shows the different ways that people navigate grief and begin to deal with the unexpected happening in their lives. How some people choose to close up and some ache for connection but how ultimately our relationships help us get through it. Whether it is a best friend, a sibling, or a romantic partner, these people grow with you and help you stay afloat when you feel like you’ve been drowning.
I cannot fully express how much I adored this book. In fact, I’m struggling to write this review because this book exceeded my expectations so entirely that I don’t know how to explain it. This book feels like a warm hug. It made me laugh and cry but it held me throughout all the emotions that I felt. I grew such a connection to these characters that I’m mourning the end of this book because I want to keep reading about them forever. Every character is so developed, whether it’s a main character or side character, that you feel like you know them. This is an incredibly exceptional debut novel and I cannot wait to read many more books from Stephanie and to watch her career blossom!!!
Thank you to the publisher and the author for this e-arc!

I enjoyed this book! I think this is a great read if you want an easy, low stakes summer romance. It hits a ton of people’s favourite tropes like fake dating, one bed, and summer romance and hits them well!
I found that I really connected with Noelle and found Jeremiah’s family incredibly endearing but I think that Jeremiah himself fell a bit flat for me. I wish the chapters surrounding him dove a little deeper into his grief and personal life because we saw a lot of Noelle (which I loved!) but not a lot of him.
Overall, I recommend this book if you want a quick and easy summer read!

I absolutely adored this book!!!! Inés my absolute angel and Chloe my misunderstood queen, I love you both dearly. I could read 500 more books in this universe. I need Meg’s writing injected into my bloodstream via IV.

I ATE THIS UP!!!!! This was fun as hell and I literally could not put it down. This is one of the greatest friends to lovers books that I’ve read. I love that we get to see so much of the interconnectedness of this series in each of the books because it just made me so excited to read Set Point (which I am jumping into ASAP)! In conclusion: I adore Meg and her writing and her amazing books!
