Iâm honestly am floored by how much I loved this book. It had been in my TBR for some time and Iâm so glad I finally got to it. The plot, characters, metaphors, and writing style were all woven so beautifully together, like a perfect tapestry of art. One minute youâre laughing, the next youâre crying. This book was raw and real. My first 5 start across the board since joining Pagebound. No notes.
Bottom line: Every woman should read this book. đ¤

For me, when I was a child my parents gave me magazines for kids. There were short stories about folklore, funny comics, and more and my mother would read it for me. Before the audiobooks existed, my late mom's voice was my favorite â¤ď¸ Since then, I've been growing up buying more books and when I looked back I realized that it's not just me who's always growing but my book collections too đđą

This book was more enjoyable than the first in the series. There was more action, movement through the plot, and overall explanation of what was going on. That said, I still felt like I was missing important contextâŚalmost like when someone tells a story about a person they know extremely well and expects you to just âget itâ. Thatâs how it felt. I do plan on reading Sin and Chocolate, and Iâm still hopeful that reading that series will make this one make more sense. Overall, it was a fun read with some heavy spice đ.
Bottom line: If youâre a big romantasy reader, youâll probably enjoy this series. Again, you may want to check out Sin and Chocolate first. đ¤

Letâs play an easy and quick game - Review Chain!
1ď¸âŁ Post a book in the comments - just the title and author is enough. 2ď¸âŁ Scroll through the books posted and leave a ONE WORD review (keep it spoiler free please) đ¤Ť
Letâs see how many words can be used to describe each book, and how much theyâre alike - or different! Feel free to kindly debate one anotherâs words!
Hope everyone is having a good week! đ
