omg that plot twist?!? i didnât see that coming. the whole book had this eerie, unsettling vibe, and then everything just exploded at the end. i honestly felt bad for amma, she turned out that way because of her mother, and itâs just so heartbreaking and messed up.
also, English isnât my first language, so i found it a bit hard to get into the story at first. the writing style felt a little dense and i had to reread some parts to really get what was going on. but once I got into the flow, it pulled me in. creepy and disturbing.

honestly, such a fun but creepy read. the mix of story + drawings gave it this extra unsettling vibe. at first i thought it would be just another thriller, but the way the mystery slowly unravels kept me hooked.
i didnât find the kid creepy at all, honestly i just felt bad because no child should have to go through that at such a young age. the drawings were eerie, yes, but more sad than scary once you think about it. the ending really got me though, so heartwarming after everything, it made the whole ride worth it.

finished this book and WOW, i literally couldnât stop flipping pages. it had that classic freida mcfadden âjust one more chapterâ vibe. i kept doubting every single character. the twist actually surprised me, even though the ending felt a little too fast. still, a fun and binge-y read.

fast-paced, the kind of thriller you can finish in a couple of sittings. the story of a girl with amnesia trying to figure out who she really is kept me hooked, though some parts felt a bit predictable if youâve read a lot of thrillers. still, the writing was smooth and the tension stayed consistent, which made it an entertaining read. i liked how it balanced mystery with emotion, even if the reveal wasnât mind-blowing.

this book is really quiet, but it made me think a lot. sometimes being alone feels heavy, like life isnât worth much and you donât really know anything. but at the same time, youâre still trying to change step by step. thatâs what i felt while reading, nothing dramatic happens but itâs real in a soft way.

What the what??? Thatâs it?! After everything sheâs been through, I was expecting a way more satisfying ending. The build-up had me so tense the entire time. I was fully rooting for her but then it justâŠended. Like that. Donât get me wrong, the story was gripping and so disturbing in a canât-look-away kind of way, but I definitely wanted more from the ending.

This one wasnât as thrilling as other thriller books Iâve read, but it had an interesting angle. It talks a lot about racism, and that added a really heavy, realistic layer to the story. At first, I thought I knew who the culprit was (felt kind of obvious), but then plot twist, I actually didnât. Itâs more of a slow-burn drama with social commentary than a heart-racing thriller, but still worth picking up if you like stories that mix suspense with real-life issues.

So basically, the reason heâs willing to help her is just because he has a crush on her? Like, are you seriously throwing away your life just to cover for someone you have a crush on, someone who obviously doesnât feel the same way about you?
