If so, what was the job? Do you think the author knew what they were talking about, or should they have done more research? If they made any mistakes describing the job, what were they? Were they major or minor details?
I'm especially interested in hearing from people with unique jobs, jobs involving forensics, nurses/doctors, etc. but I want to hear from everyone of course!
Have a great day everyone :))

First post here, hi everyone hehe! I've been thinking about this for a while and have been dying to know, are there any specific authors/books you've found that write/are written in a similar style to your own inner monologue?
If so, what about the book/author is similar? Is it the pacing? The opinions talked about? The words and phrases used? The overall pessimistic/optimistic/nihilistic vibe? The swearing or lack there of? Do you share similar ideals or world views?
What makes you connect with the author/narrator/character/book? How do you feel about it? Does it make you feel seen/heard, or does it creep you out a bit? How do you react when you hear positive reviews? How about negative ones? Do you find it easy or difficult to not take it personally when people dislike something/someone you feel is similar to you?
I'd love to hear y'all's thoughts! Thanks for reading, I hope you're all having an amazing day! :))
