Was it the best writing? No Was it the best mafia romance I’ve ever read? No Did it entertain the shit out of me and break the reading slump? Absolutely-fucking-lutely!
And yes, I’ve moved straight on to the next book in the series 😅

I fear this is going to be a hate read. The writing is terrible! I’m only two chapters in so it might get better but I’m not holding out much hope.

And Now, Back To You follows two very different meteorologists who end up stuck working together during a huge snowstorm. Jackson is structured and very set in his ways, while Delilah is more impulsive and determined to prove herself as a serious journalist. What starts as a forced partnership slowly turns into something more.
I really enjoyed this, maybe even more than First Time Caller. Jackson and Delilah had great chemistry and their back and forth felt natural and funny without being over the top. I found myself rooting for them the whole way through and finished it feeling happy. The snowy setting was perfect for this time of year. We love a cosy romance.
BK Borison never fails me. This wasn’t just a cutesy fluffy romance either. We had Jackson parenting his young twin sisters, Delilah’s grandfather with dementia, and the villain that is Keith, Delilah’s boss. All of that added a lot of depth to the story and made it feel more real.
Tropes: • Forced proximity • Grumpy sunshine • Opposites attract
A solid 4 star read for me.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
