This is my fourth Sally Rooney book of the year and if I don’t see:
-skinny brunette woman with issues with either her mum or dad who has no friends or barely any friends but academically excels -a trip to france or italy -a toxic boyfriend -straight up TERRIBLE miscommunication
then this is not a Sally Rooney book and someone ghost wrote it for her 😡🤬🤬but I love Sally and her characters. I also love her writing style and the way she writes her dialogue (may or may not be because I have read normal people four times and you just get used to it), it feels so intimate and for me, I always felt as if I was there with them. But sometimes they start talking and you don’t realise it until the fourth line of dialogue 🤣ijbol

This book is making me want to reread Lolita again😭 I forgot so much of it and the last time I read it, I wasn’t even in high school yet, and before that, I wasn’t even in intermediate 🥴I have so much catching up to do

Unbearably heavy. It feels like I’ve aged a million years reading this, and it’s only the first of march. March usually goes fast for me, but from this book alone I feel like it’s going to be such a slow month 🫨I don’t think I’ve ever remembered a day being this long.
