Thank you infinitely to Netgalley and Headline for providing this eARC in exchange for an honest review!

This book is a gorgeous historical Korean romance inspired by the iconic Pride and Prejudice, created with so much love and care!

Haewon and Seojun's dynamic was so endearing, it left me feeling all warm and fuzzy!! I also adored Haewon's relationship with her sisters and the way their bond shone throughout the story.

The exploration of book banning, was done so well. Books are such a vital vessel for authors to share their stories far and wide, and for readers to learn more about ourselves within their pages. They hold so many different ways of thinking that can broaden our horizons, sharpen our minds and provide us with the resources to fight for a better world. Of course, this threatens those in power, as whenever the government wishes to control the people, books are always one of the first things to be destroyed.

This book without a doubt has been my favourite read of the year, and I cannot wait for May 2026 when it can find its way into more readers hands!
