Does anyone chuck there books when they suck? I hated this one book soooo much i threw it at a wall while sitting in a little nook type area, mind you i was in a semi public place so a couple people have asked if it was my book and i would say “yes it is” some picked it up for me and gave it to me i said “thank you so much” then chucked it again once they left. Ive thrown books and punched books and once drop kicked a book. I hate hurting books but these ones deserved it. Am i crazy or do other people do this too?

similar to the title: what are your thoughts on adaptations? do you like it when your favourite books are turned into movies and tv series? are you more like "i like whatever you do to the original text, it's just an inspiration" or "everything needs to be exactly the same as in the book"? (and a question conmected to that: what is the best adaptation in your opinion?)
i'm mostly on the "i like whatever you do, it's just an inspiration" even though i like to feel that the creators of movie/tv series know the book really well and just love it, you can always feel it when the og text is respected haha and i don't really mind changes to plot/characters as long as it makes sense???
anyways i want to know your thoughts and feelings on this 🙂↕️✨
