Creative, funny, entertaining and exciting. Goldfisch and it's creator were great new discoveries for me this year. Morrey embodies charm and innocence with an enthusiasm for adventure and exploring but is ultimately committed to the mission of saving someone he loves. Highly recommend.

Avery's installment of the Pleasure Crew series will give alien and monster romance readers a fun new world to dive into.
This was my first time reading a book from this series, but that didn't make understanding Phial and Avery's story difficult to get into. With brief history recaps scattered around, I understood the depth of Avery's trauma since she was abducted and alter against her will. And the deep affection and care Phial has for her.
This is technically an alien romance but I would go as far as to say it also counts as a friends to lovers story. Specific circumstances lead Avery and Phial towards an "intimate" relationship a little sooner than I believe they would've eventually ended up in on their own.
Phial turned out to be more fun to read than I thought he would be. He can be serious and protective of Avery but he's equally as a self-conscious, shy, cinnamon roll with a kinky mind who loves worshiping Avery and giving her whatever she needs.
Also--if other readers start with this book, there's an epilogue that covers Phial's past and how he came to be where he is today. It sounded pretty interesting and it made me want to go back to the first two books in this series to see those details first hand.
Thanks to the author for allowing me to join the arc team to read this book💜
