Post from the The Remains of the Day forum
finally doing a re-read. i read the translated german version of this, and after the first two chapters i feel like the first time around i was very focused on getting acquainted with the naration and prose.
i have also seen the film adaption since then and feel like i'm picking up on much more and getting a better understanding of stevens.
also it's so fun to read lol i guess i can understand thinking it's boring but i think it's very entertaining!
