Well this was lovely. I've never read a book like this & phew it had me tearing up at different parts. I love the idea/premise of being with a person who yes you love but more importantly you love YOURSELF when you're around/with them. THE LETTER had me alllll emotinal. I also loved how you could feel all the emotions of each charatcers- what a unique experience all three of them had.
Also- idk the exact quote- but it talked abut grief being a shell & that's ok to shed the shell and not carry it with you at all times. Rather you can just come back to it every now and again. heart cracks kk that's it! Listened to this on audio & Julia Whelan did amaze duh.

Anyways- great book obviously. Can't say much because spoilers ya know. I love the dynamic between Hunt & Bryce- it's one of my favorites I have ever read. As always- I enjoyed all the side characters & hope to see more of them. This book was quite the ride & really picked up half way through and I sped through it!! Also- loveeeeee my girl Byrce & I knew I would- strong fmc thank uuuu. Oh & lots of world building which had me exhausted but I had a gooooooood time.

There’s so much daily life fluff of them cooking and watching tv that I feel like a lot of people will love or hate. I’m personally more on the hate side because this book is like 800 pages and it drags the pacing to a crawl. How do other people feel about it? Do y’all like them talking about sun ball and eating cheeseburgers? Or do you wish this was a lean and mean 400 pages shorter?
