Really love the movie Event Horizon, so I loved seeing what happened before that! So gory and visceral, really loved it and the art and coloring was amazing. Just wish there had been more!!

This book was wild, just for the amount of stuff it tried to pack into it. It was really fun and I loved the X-Files/Supernatural/Creature Feature style of it but it was trying to do too much. Usually I love a bit of everything, but I think this would of benefited from picking a genre and sticking to it and doing it well, instead of lightly dipping into multiple, I just think this didn't allow for much depth and I could tell that the world building would of been so much deeper if there a little more space to do that. I did have a really fun time reading it and I loved all the characters, especially Eldi!
(this would be so good as a series, where we get to explore all the different magical and alien creatures!)

Reality is overrated! These surreal and absurd fiction books remove logic to reveal their truths. Here the impossible is inevitable, the strange is necessary, and Kafkaesque is only the beginning.

Hey there!
I’m looking for some suggestions for graphic novels and comics to read and also to get suggestions on what kinds of graphic novels you would suggest to intro people into the genre/style! I’m planning to buy a few as gifts in the coming months so would love to be pointed in the direction of any and all that you’ve enjoyed for me to check out!

I'm really liking this so far, I like that the MC is not really likable, she's obviously had a bad childhood and some really awful stuff has happened to her, so I understand her motives, but shes written so brashly and hot headed that I'm also not rooting for her at all 🫣
It wasn't reading horror until the ritual with the Bruja, and now I'm interested to see where this whole thing goes because I feel like shits about to go down!

So I am so bored of zombies, they've been done to death (pun intended) but this was such a unique take on the genre, I loved it! I didn't have, feeling empathy for a zombie on my 2026 bingo card but here we are!
I loved the idea of being able to consume the memories of the humans the MC eats, it's such a great way to pack a bunch of hard and gut wrenching emotions in a quick, visceral way. I loved the way she was connected to the horde but she also had ties to her old living life that she was trying to hold on to.
The flash backs were harrowing but also really made you feel sorry for the MC and in the end I was rooting for her to complete her mission.
I think this worked so well as a short story and I really loved it, highly recommend

"Every few seconds, he twirls it as if making sure it's still right where he left it. I can't judge him, for if I had a mustache, I'd twist it all day too."
