English Renaissance Literature
Very niche category but if there are any English Literature students wondering what they will be studying for a little bit this might be useful.

I can see why people are so fierce in their stances that this is not his best. I still think it was much better than I expected though. I thought it was going to be really boring after reading the first few parts even though I liked Razumikhin. Then Svidrigailov showed up and I was both scared and frothing at the mouth with rage every time he was on the page. I hate you Svidrigailov rot in hell. Very compelling plot threads. I don't get why the whole 'Lazarus' epilogue is controversial though. I think its definitely the most hopeful of Dostoevsky's endings especially in comparison to The Idiot or Demons. Overall it works really well even if it could have been shaved down a fair bit.
