3.75 âď¸ Such a fun quick read, I absolutely zoomed through this. I do think that it was a bit ridiculous at some points, it did a good job showing her getting crazier and crazier but the final big bit did still seem like quite a jump and would have made more sense if it linked into her flashbacks or something in some way? Iâm not sure it just still felt a bit out of character even for her, but still had so much fun reading this! Really enjoyed it, I love a crazy narrator

This has absolutely gagged me I feel so yuck after finishing this
It took me like 12 days to read the first quarter of this and then I read all the rest in 2 days, I think that I struggled at first with all the different writing styles combined but once I was into the story more I completely got used to it and it wasnât a problem for the rest. I absolutely LOVED this depiction of vampires, the combination of traditional myths with new lore, incorporating America history and Native American beliefs, it was so so interesting and such a fresh take, absolutely my favourite part of the book and done amazingly. Good Stabâs story was my favourite part but I also enjoyed the unreliable narrator/ongoing mystery from Arthurâs journal, and love the Dracula vibes from it being told in journal entries. I didnât love Etsyâs bits, the narration style wasnât my favourite and was a big change from the other 2 POVs, and I also thought the ending was absolutely crazy and definitely took it down another half star for me because what???? What??? Anyway overall really glad to have read it and loved so much about it, definitely still a great story and relevant right now with attitudes towards who is allowed on which land by people who donât even have a right to any of it xx
