Touch Me, I'm Sick: A Memoir in Essays

Really fascinating book. An author, a Nigerian-American named Zelu, writes a book about robots/AI, and that book is interspersed throughout Zeluās own story. We follow Zeluās life for a few chapters, then the book inserts chapters of her book.
Cool form and subversion of the traditional novel structure and heroās journey.
The ending was more vague than I hoped, with all the build up, however I understand the literary purpose of the more open end. Just left me a bit unsatisfied?

āāWhat size is he?ā Your mother was always better with sizes, always took you school clothes shopping.ā
See, this is why I hate reading books written by men LMFAOOOOO because what do you mean ābetter with sizes?!ā Knowing your childās clothing size is not a SKILL, it is a basic fact that a parent should know. Women canāt be ābetterā as sizes!!! Itās NOT A SKILL!!! š Rather, women tend to be the primary caretaker who bring the child shopping, try on clothes to figure out sizes, launder the clothes, and then fold the clothes, and these are all times in which a parent learns their kidās size.
Men are so annoying, ābetter with sizesā like get out of here loser
