CW: Thoughts of suicide, and the dog does graphically die.

Florida based, this book follows a group of adult children struggling in their own lives and in the wake of their mom's passing. Lots of family drama, airing everyone's dirty laundry, and mental illness struggles, but at the end of the day, family makes it through and figures stuff out. This book's depiction of Florida is truly top notch.

I loved this book, it was hysterical, and it just hit my vein of dark humor in the best way. It was fun reading about something so hyper-specific to Orlando and seeing what Cherry would do next. Cherry was the most chaotic and directionless main character I've ever read, but I loved her for it. Who would've thought that a lesbian clown with mommy issues would be this good of a read. Also super specifically, thank you, Kristin Arnett, for the library scene.
