Much much better than the first book

I have almost given up on this series. Good thing I didn’t!

Honestly a surprise, very good first book with a lot happening. I will repeat myself but I'm a sucker for slowwwww burns so this one was too short for me but well, the complexity in the story compensates for it. I'll recommend and continue the serie!

I need someone to tell me if this picks up and gets interesting at some point because I'm bored and I bought the audio for this 😭 I'm 40% for DNFing this btw. Will delete the post once I get a couple answers cause I don't want to fill the forum without having something interesting to say.

Loved the dystopian context and the main plot. Great characters, relationships a bit quick to be built but nothing out of the ordinary I'm just a sucker for slow burn, even in friendships

While I preferred having less colour on the page in the 1st one, it feels good to see our friends again. Still full of beauty, softness and kindness. For when you need a hug, and only a book can give it to you. Ps: no Mole emoji so hamster it is.

This is a hard one to review. I'll just say that I wish every white person would read it, share it and reflect on it. We need to educate ourselves and do better. I'm thankful for the recommended books at the end as I have a feeling I've just seen the top of the iceberg. READ IT!
